Colin joined the accounts team in 1990, qualified in 1999 and was initially attracted to the firm by the investment the company placed in IT. Colin initially worked on a diverse portfolio of client’s, gaining experience in accounts, auditing businesses and in personal tax.
With Colin’s enthusiasm towards computerising clients accounting systems, he worked towards improving his Sage knowledge and expertise and was soon leading this side of the business, implementing the accounts package and training the clients on how to get the best out of it for their business. He advised clients using Sage and helped them to get the best out of their accounting systems in order to develop their business.
Outside of work, Colin was married with two daughters and played pool in a local league, of which he was treasurer. He was a passionate follower of Crewe Alexandra FC.
