The Self-Employed Income Support Scheme Goes Live on 13th May, But When Will You Receive The Grant?

Posted 05/05/2020

The Self-Employment Income Support Scheme goes live on 13th May, but not everyone can claim on that date.

If you follow the eligibility checker in the link below, it will tell you if you are eligible and from what date you can apply.

When you have submit your claim on your allocated date, you will be told straight away if you grant is approved.

If your claim is approved, you should receive the payment into your bank account within 6 working days, although we currently believe that the 25th May could be the earliest date for payments..

If you run through the eligibility checker as soon as possible, you can ensure that you have all of the information to hand so that your application is not delayed.

You do not have to wait until HMRC contact you to check your eligibility.
