Colin qualified in 1999 after having joined the accounts team in 1990 and was attracted by the investment the company placed in IT. Colin initially worked on a diverse portfolio of client's, gaining experience in accounts, audit and both business and personal tax.
With Colin's enthusiasm towards computerising clients accounting systems, he worked towards improving his Sage knowledge and expertise and was soon leading this side of the business, implementing the accounts package and training the clients on how to get the best out of it for their business. He still advises clients using Sage and regularly visits clients for training sessions or refresher courses on using the package and is looking to use this experience in advising clients on how to develop their business and accounting systems.
Colin is married with two daughters and plays pool in a local league, of which he is treasurer. He is also a passionate follower of Crewe Alexandra FC.
